Privacy
- Do my files leave my device? — No. There is no upload step and no document server. Files are read in-browser only.
- What data is stored locally? — Optionally, a short activity history (tool name + time) in this browser’s local storage. You can disable or clear it in Settings.
- Can PDFIntro see my documents? — No. We have no technical ability to — the processing code runs in your tab, not on our infrastructure.
Using the tools
- How do I reorder pages before merging? — In tools that support it, drag the file rows up and down. The order shown is the order used.
- Why is compress slower than merge? — Compress re-renders each page to an image at your chosen resolution, which is more work than copying page objects.
- Which browsers are supported? — Any modern Chromium, Firefox or Safari release. WebAssembly and the File API are required.
Account & billing
- Do I need to sign up? — No account is required for any core tool.
- Are paid plans live? — Not yet — Pro and Business are placeholders showing where advanced workflows will go.
