Privacy
No. There is no upload step and no document server. Files are read in-browser only — including the PDF editor at /edit.
Theme preference, optional activity history (tool name + time), and saved Pro presets live in this browser’s local storage. Pro billing stores a Stripe customer reference in a cookie so this device can check your subscription. None of this includes document contents.
No. We have no technical ability to — the processing code runs in your tab, not on our infrastructure.
Using the tools
Open /edit, drop your PDF, add signatures, text fields, checkboxes, and images from the toolbar. Use Arrange to drag and resize fields, Fill to enter values, then Download PDF or Print → Save as PDF. Everything stays on your device.
In tools that support it, drag the file rows up and down. The order shown is the order used.
Compress is a Pro tool that re-renders each page to an image at your chosen resolution, which is more work than copying page objects.
Any modern Chromium, Firefox or Safari release. WebAssembly and the File API are required.
Account & billing
No PDFIntro account. Free tools need no login. Pro checkout goes through Stripe — use the same email on a new device and request a restore link from Settings.
Yes. Pro is $6/mo via Stripe. Subscribe on Pricing, manage or cancel in Settings → Manage subscription, and restore on another browser with the email you used at checkout. Business is coming soon.
Compress, flatten, remove metadata, password protect, unlock PDF, in-browser OCR, multi-step workflows, and saved tool presets. Organise, convert, edit tools and the /edit PDF editor stay free.
Go to Settings or /billing/restore, enter the email from Stripe checkout, and click the magic link we send (valid for one hour). Your PDFs are never involved — only billing status is checked.
No. Stripe handles payment securely. PDFIntro only keeps enough billing state on this device to know whether your Pro subscription is active.
